Audubon Arts, New Haven * Summer Camp

 back to summerHaven

February 2013. Our son, who is now 6 just loves Audubon Arts camp. The kids produce a musical per session that includes learning the songs, dances, making the props and costumes, and learning to work together.  In addition, the kids get to chose a “special” that allows them to go more in-depth into an area of interest from sampling instruments to singing etc.  My son loved the singing intensive and learned the soundtrack to They Must Be Giants Science music (can’t remember the album). They also do fun things like wacky wednesdays.  The staff are GREAT and its just a fantastic environment.  The kids perform and see performances outside at lunchtime in the adjacent park.  AArts has good before/after camp coverage too.  Downside: could use more boys and so this serves as my pitch to parents of boys too! Hello. I am wondering if you accept 4-year-olds into your camp. If so, I’d like to see if you have availability for July 1st and what your fees are. I can be reached via email or at 203.432.5306 or 860.719.1364. Thank you.

My grandson, Orlondo, loves to act and dance. He is a born entertainer. He is 7 years old and I would love to enroll him in something like this for the summer. I hope it is not too expensive. Please answer back. Thanks
