October 2012.   Stephanie Anestis:  Her photos of children and families (and pets) are amazing, and she really captures the essence of a child’s personality. Also, she is literally the easiest/nicest person to work with and kids adore her. (Full disclosure: she’s a friend, but everyone who has ever seen her photos and worked with her is amazed). She even managed to make me and my husband look good! :-) Alexandra D.

LNM Digital Art and Photography: she will go to your house or a location of your choosing. I had my kids photographed by her last year and the 3 year old is still asking me if we can go to the park with her. No joke!  HIGHly recommended by everyone who’s used her and so nice and so patient and just goes way above and beyond the call of duty.  Oh and best part is she gives you the reproduction rights to your proofs after she gives you the prints! We made cards, mugs, etc. using some of the photos she did for us. LOVE her.    Stephanie S.

Cmcphotography in Wallingford.  She has a studio but also shoots at all different locations and she takes amazing photos! Elsa C.

I highly recommend Mistina Hanscom at Lotta Studio,  she does phenomenal and unique work.  Sumiya K.

Julie Brown photography. She does beautiful work.  Michelle M. [kH note: Julie Brown’s office is in New York, but she works also in New Haven.]

June 2013.  My nephew just had his 1 year photos done by Weathered Lens Photography and they are fantastic! He is based in New Haven but travels to locations near where you live. He took my nephew’s photos in a park using a bunch of props and they are adorable. Kristi C.
