Weekend Highlights, Jan 8-9

So I hear you got some snow.  In that case, I’ll refrain from telling you all about  the turquoise blue sky and sunny day we had here in the wild West today…

If that storm you’re having is as messy as it sounds, please call ahead before heading out to any event listed here on kidHaven.  It’s really just good practice no matter the weather, really.

Stay safe!  Build a snowman for us, will ya? ~kim

Weekend Highlights, Jan 1-2 (updated)

Our final guests left this morning and the house is a bit of a disaster…but in a happy sort of way.  As my husband says, “A messy house is a lived in happy house.”  (to which I only agree at times like this.  Can you say OCD?)  Anyone have a phone number to a cleaning fairy that magically puts everything back in its place, cleans and does laundry?  If so, please send it my way.

Since I’ve been busy enjoying lots of family time, this week’s Weekend Highlights is a work in progress.  Here’s what I have so far.  I’ll be adding to this list sometime today, so please check back.

To all of you, I wish you a very, very happy New Year!   Cheers! ~kim
