June 2013. Tiny Giggles Home Daycare is amazing. Judy and Emil are two of the kindest and most loving people I know. My daughter very clearly thinks of them as family and loves going to daycare.
Judy plans educational curriculum each month and sends it out to the parents in advance. It’s an ethnically diverse daycare and the kids learn about each other’s holidays, as well as subjects ranging from planting seeds to taking care of their teeth. And many activities and daily interactions are conducted in both Spanish and English; my daughter is learning an astonishing amount of Spanish.
Judy is great about communicating with parents. She texts photos a few times a week, answers texts and calls very quickly, fills out a daily sheet detailing your child’s day – and once a year, she sends home a book assessing the child’s development in very thorough detail, complete with funny stories and pictures.
The parts of Judy and Emil’s home used for the daycare are clean, safe, fun and surprisingly big! Judy and Emil’s son even painted a beautiful mural on the wall of the main daycare room. They also have a huge backyard with playsets and all kinds of fun outdoor toys. The kids do outdoor activities each day, unless it’s raining or snowing, and on those days, they play in the newly remodeled gross motor activity area in the basement. There’s a great art room down there too!
Judy and Emil provide delicious, healthy and often organic breakfast, lunch and snack. (The delicious part I know because in the year we’ve been at Tiny Giggles, the families have already been invited over for two dinners! Emil is a fantastic cook.)
I couldn’t ask for a better place to bring my daughter each day or better people to care for her. I only wish I was young enough to spend the day there too! Debbie B., parent
