Foote School Summer Programs in New Haven
Submitted by Charlotte at the Foote School
There are still openings at the Foote’s Summer Program, which runs on our 17-acre campus with its beautiful, safe play areas from June 21 – July 30. Children can be enrolled in a variety of course for a week or for all 6.
There’s a special learning and exploration program that has run for more than 40 years called “MUD.” Kids are grouped by age: 4-year-olds, 5-year-olds, 6-year-olds, and 7, 8, & 9-year olds. It’s a morning program with an extended day option. Activities include: age-appropriate sports, special events & visitors, outdoor games, story telling, group singing, music, creative dramatics, construction projects, arts & crafts, and cooking.
There are also more than 30 enrichment courses for children from ages 7 -14 include GarageBand Extravaganza, Chess, Advanced Robotics, Scrapbooking, Creative Writing, Yoga & Storytelling, Helping Hands (community service activities).
Over the years, we have found that children who attend our Summer Programs keep coming back for more! Students come back year after year, and former students return as interns and counselors. Come, join us and become a part of this tradition.
