CELEBRATE CONNECTICUT TRAIL DAY JUNE 5, 10 am ON EAST HAVEN’S “HIDDEN TREASURE” TRAIL WALK! On Saturday, June 5 at 10AM. East Haven Boy Scouts from Troop 401 will lead our walk along the 1200 foot trail they helped build, hiking thru picturesque woods to an overview of the Bradford Preserve tidal wetlands into Farm River State Park, peaceful & pristine – an easy, pleasant walk with one small steep area. DIRECTIONS: Meet at DC Moore School on Elliot Street, the western parking lot. From Elliot St., first right. From 142 west, right onto Mansfield Grove Road, right onto Hoop Pole Road to School, second parking lot is left, just past the school.
