Milford Pirate Festival – arrrrr!

Captain Kidd comes to Milford on June 12….Pirate Style!  For over 300 years people of all ages have searched for Captain Kidd’s treasure! On June 12, folks young and old -from all over CT, will discover that the treasure is right here in Milford!

To celebrate Captain Kidd and our local history, the Downtown Milford Business Association is hosting the state’s best and largest scavenger hunt. Participants will pick up a map and booty bag and, by following the clues, discover free treasure that has been “hidden” in local businesses.

Lots will be going on during the day festivities…..join us for a Shiver me Timbers Brunch, or Pirate Skits!  Maybe you can give a try at talking like a pirate or is it Johnny Depp that you really look like?  Belly dancers and performances by local bands are sure to entertain all!

So we will see you then Matey?  Or walk the Plank!  AAARRRGGGG!

TURN IN your completed treasure maps by 5pm to any participating shop on the treasure map for your chance at a Gift Card Basket from Downtown Milford Merchants valued at over $700 and a Kid’s Pirate Pack! Arrrrgh, Mateys!  AND if you bring a non-perishable food item for the Milford Food Bank to any of the shops, you’ll receive DOUBLE the entry!
