Are you wishing for a creative environment to bring your children while you have some time to yourself?

The Painted Pomegranate is a new creative center for children scheduled to open on April 1st, with a fun and interactive open house scheduled for families on March 14th. It will be located at the JCC, 360 Amity Road in Woodbridge.  The Pomegranate is designed to allow parents to drop their children off at an experiential learning center where children can create in the art room, act on the stage, manipulate objects in the sensory tables, and become comfortable in the book nook.  Classes including yoga for kids, Music Together, Music and Me, and theater, will run throughout the week.  Afterschool activities for older children, fabulous birthday parties, and various parent and children workshops will also be offered.

Daytime drop off for potty-trained preschoolers thru age 5 will be from 8:45-3pm, Monday-Friday.

The Pomegranate is being constructed by Daniela Balzano-Fenton, the former owner of Blend, a creative center for children in Branford, CT.
