Homemade Whipped Cream

One of best friends in the world is a genius in the kitchen.  Combine that with some Sagittarius creativity and you’ve got a nice bag-o-tricks for getting little ones involved in making meals together.  This is one of my favorite ideas I’ve stolen from him – simple, fun, yummy!

Tame idle hands by having your child prepare homemade whipped cream while you prepare dinner.  Heavy whipping cream, a hint of sugar, a bowl, a whisk and voila!  It keeps hands busy and helps them be involved.  Plus, they can “steal” as much as they want while they’re whipping.  Serve whipped cream for dessert with something simple or something fancy…or even alone.  This one’s more about the journey than the destination.
