Want to make friends with other adventurous and fun mommies? Looking to explore the world with your toddler? Yes, I said explore the world (including your backyard)! All kinds of possibilities for fun and happiness exist as long as you have that, “We’re game!” attitude!

We are a group of young at heart moms who want to show our little ones everything this world has to offer, exposing them to many different cultures and experiences. We are looking for more fun, fearless and fabulous mommies to enjoy exploring with us! Enthusiasm and curiosity are a definite must!

We are a group of moms that wanted something a bit more from the average mommy group. Again, we are adventurers! Whether it is a sporting activity, an art exhibit, a cultural event, or just a hike in the woods… we want our children to experience it all!

Some of the group activities we are currently planning include: health and fitness events for children & mommies; events focusing on creative expression using music, art and story telling; plus events focusing on educational play that integrate opportunities for learning about different cultures and language.  We love exciting field trips but also enjoy casual play dates at a park or member’s home.

We welcome parents who share our enthusiasm for making the most of this very active stage of our children’s lives. Our founding members are both stay-at-home and part time working moms of toddlers, but we welcome parents with children of all ages.

WE WANT YOU TO PARTICIPATE!  We are looking for active members* and ask that you attend at least 2 meet-ups a month.  As a member, you will also have access to our list of kid-friendly events happening throughout CT.  We maintain an up-to-date list of current events for our members so that you always have something to do.  It’s a great way to stay informed and learn about new things to do with your kids.  Additionally, we provide an online ‘Message Board,’ for advice, questions, fun, etc.  Follow this link to visit the Little Explorers playgroup online.
