Exercise during pregnancy has been shown to:

  • Reduce musculoskeletal problems during and after pregnancy
  • Stimulate a faster and less complicated labor
  • Decrease cesarian rate
  • Manage, and in some cases prevent, gestational diabetes and preeclampsia
  • Decrease risk of pre-term labor
  • Accelerate postpartum recovery and healing
  • Enhance postpartum weight loss

Come learn about the benefits of exercise during pregnancy.  Following a discussion, there will be a short demonstration of some functional and holistic exercise and meditation techniques used to prepare women’s bodies and minds for childbirth and beyond.
