CT Folk & Green Expo in New Haven

Siempre Verde, a FREE children’s theatre event, will kick-off the CT Folk & Green Expo in New Haven.  Using Latin folk music and folklore, Siempre Verde (Always Green) is a play about a young boy and his friend, a wise old tree.  Meant to promote the importance of environmental responsibility, this event sounds like fun for families with school-age children.  One caveat, it’s scheduled first thing Friday morning.

On Saturday, the CT Folk & Green Expo has lots more kids events planned including storytelling, yoga sessions, a Brain-a-Thon and a compost labyrinth.  Workshops are also scheduled throughout the day, some for kids and some for adults.  Click here for the full schedule.
