Bon Appetit Baby

As a new Mom, I found myself faced with the daunting task of weaning my 6 month old daughter, Ashlee, onto solid foods.  She turned up her nose to broccoli, she scowled at cauliflower, and she would have absolutely nothing to do with avocado.

Determined to win this battle, I began mixing vegetables less desired by babies with those that are most desired.  Over the months I put together combinations that Ashlee loved.  After a couple of servings of my very popular “Sweet Potatolicious Broccoli”, she began happily eating broccoli on its own…AND the idea for Bon Appétit Baby was born!

Together with my business partner we now co-own Bon Appétit Baby, a company committed to providing families throughout Connecticut with freshly made gourmet baby food purees.  The idea behind Bon Appétit Baby’s gourmet purees is to give babies a taste for a fruit or vegetable they may not even consider, by combining it with another fruit or vegetable they love.  As their palette becomes acquainted with this new taste, it becomes easier and easier to introduce it on its own. Knowing that a child’s sense of taste is formed very early on, we at Bon Appétit Baby are dedicated to helping parents set a course of good eating habits for their baby that will last a lifetime.

Healthy eating habits begin with the very first bite.  Visit Bon Appétit Baby online to learn how we can bring fresh, gourmet baby food purees for your baby right to your doorstep, www.bonappetitbaby.net.

Has anyone tried this babyfood yet? I thought it was kind of expensive but I just placed an order because I have tried almost everything and my 9month old still wont eat solids regularly. I have friends in Cali who swear by frozen organic food for their kids and I thought I’d try this one. I’ll post back with a thumbs up or thumbs down when I get my order.
