Steady Mom, Steady Days

Let me introduce you to one inspiring momma: Steady Mom.
Steady Mom is one of those mommas that takes her job seriously. It’s actually what first intrigued me about her. When I read the tagline on her blog – on the journey toward intentional, professional motherhood – I knew I had to read on. What I discovered was a mother that talks about the highs and lows of parenting. In a very personal way, she shares the joyful memories her family celebrates together. But she also shares strategies about how to manage mundane tasks like doing the laundry.
What I really like is that she’s genuine. While her backstory is awe inspiring, she doesn’t come across as SuperMom. And I mean that as a compliment. I feel like she’s in the trenches with me, not above me. She’s juggling, just like all moms do. But she’s juggling with grace and ease. Steady Mom is just that…steady.
These are a few of my favorite posts on her blog, Steady Mom:
Moms Unplugged (don’t waste time online)
What To Do When Everyone is Watching
And finally, click here to learn about her book Steady Days, expected to hit the shelves in October, 2009.

I love the image of you nodding in agreement while reading kidHaven! Many thanks for your encouraging words. Here’s to Jamie, to you and to the rest of us who value a steady approach to parenting…and life! Cheers!
